Reflections on Relationships, Boundaries, and Personal Growth

If you’ve found your way here, there’s a good chance you’re navigating something that feels heavy, confusing, or hard to put into words. Many people arrive at therapy blogs because they’re trying to make sense of their emotions, patterns in relationships, or a life transition that doesn’t quite fit the version of themselves they used to know.

This space is meant to offer thoughtful, therapy-informed reflections for adults who want to understand themselves more deeply — especially around relationships, boundaries, self-worth, and emotional well-being. Whether you’re considering therapy, already in therapy, or simply exploring on your own, these writings are here to support insight, clarity, and self-compassion.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker/therapist providing individual telehealth therapy to adults, my work centers on helping people slow down, notice patterns, and make intentional changes that align with who they are and how they want to live. This blog is an extension of that work — reflective, grounded, and human.

What You’ll Find Here

The posts in this blog explore themes that often show up in therapy, including:

  • Relationship dynamics, attachment patterns, and boundaries

  • Codependency, people-pleasing, and difficulty prioritizing your own needs

  • Depression, emotional burnout, and feeling “stuck” or disconnected

  • Life transitions such as divorce, identity shifts, or major changes

  • Personal growth, self-reflection, and building emotional awareness

Rather than offering quick fixes or advice, these reflections are designed to help you pause, think, and gently explore what might be happening beneath the surface.

A Gentle Note About Therapy & Boundaries

The content shared here is intended for educational and reflective purposes only and is not a substitute for psychotherapy or mental health treatment. Reading these posts does not establish a therapeutic relationship.

If you’re experiencing significant distress or are in need of immediate support, please reach out to appropriate local resources or emergency services.

Considering Therapy?

If something here resonates and you’re curious about working together, I offer individual telehealth therapy for adults. I also provide a free 15-minute phone call for potential clients who would like more information, ask questions, and determine whether my approach feels like a good fit — no pressure and no obligation.

You’re welcome to take your time, read what feels helpful, and reach out when and if you’re ready.
